MOTORCYCLE CLUB
A number of Paradise Valley Campground owners have
motorcycles. Several years ago small groups were
getting together to enjoy riding in the mountains
as a group. Sam & Gail, lot 99, noticed the
increasing activity and organized the first
motorcycle rider meeting. Following several
meetings the group selected the name,
"Mountain Cruisers" and the Paradise
Valley Campground motorcycle club was born. Thanks,
Sam & Gail !
Late in the 2011 summer season Mountain Cruisers
includes about 20 riders. Motorcycles include
Harleys, Honda Gold Wings, several Gold Wing trikes
and other motorcycles and scooters.
Club rides usually include a destination for lunch,
where the social interaction is enjoyed by all. As
beautiful, lightly traveled, mountain roads are
literally at the front door of Paradise Valley, one
day round trip rides are possible in most every
direction. Breath taking mountain views, pine
forests and lake side retreats are but an hour or
two away and the network of roads in Georgia and
North Carolina usually make possible a return on
a different path.
Starting in August of 2011 we are now publishing the
"Cruisers Report" which is normally
available following an outing or Meeting. Please
contact Sam or Gail if you have suggestions for
trips, activities or events.
Note,
"Cruisers Report" and other
items listed, are provided as PDF (Portable
Data Format) documents, which uses an Adobe Acrobat
Reader that is included on most computers.
Acrobat Readers maintain the quality of the
original document on a wide variety of platforms.
