We went to our DDD in Kansas City, MO, Sosa's 39th Street Diner. It was right next door to a "gentlemen's" club. Whooooo! We enjoyed the people here in Kansas City. They were very helpful with information on what to see while we were in town. We had a look at the Plaza District, Power and Light Center and 18th and Vine.

We have included three photos of our campground in Lone Jack, Missouri, Lake Paradise Resort. Imagine that, another "Paradise" ! This Paradise is a bit East of Kansas City and just below I70. Isn't the sunset beautiful..?

We spent a day exploring the town of Lee's Summit just outside of central Kansas City, Missouri, about 10 to 15 miles on I470. It was a very nice town, a bedroom community, that is close enough to Kansas City to enjoy all the amenities, but still be that "quiet town & a good place to raise kids". It began as a small town, but grew because General Electric and the Railroad "came to town". Approximately 90,000 folks live there now. While visiting we ate at a great place called Stuey McBrews. The hamburgers were off the charts. You can probably tell. Question: Was the beer or burger better?.

Crossing into Kansas, as we said "goodbye" to Missouri, we saw beautiful farms and some signs enticing us to visit the OZ Winery. Their wine was called the Witch in the Ditch. We didn't stop, but the signage was cute. We discovered another unusual sign too; a very unique sign for the ladies restroom.
